This route focuses on the assessment of five key units, each evaluating your proficiency in the essential aspects of engineering surveying:
Introduction to Surveying
Demonstrate your knowledge of health and safety, numerical techniques, organizational management, control networks, and survey drawing interpretation.
Understanding Levelling in Surveying
Show your expertise in levelling techniques, including the use of different types of levels and your understanding of various datums used in surveying.
Using a Total Station in Surveying

Attend in-person sessions to complete the required practical assessments. These sessions will evaluate your skills in key areas such as Total Station Surveying, Dumpy Level operation, GNSS usage, and Total Station Setting Out, ensuring you meet the standards for certification.

Certification
Upon successful completion of both theoretical and practical assessments, you will be awarded the ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying, making you eligible for a CSCS Gold Card.
Your Path to Certification
Our assessment-only route is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to complete the process at your own pace. While most candidates finish within 6 months, you have up to 18 months to complete all assessments. Practical assessments are scheduled at our North London Studio, and you can complete your theoretical assessments remotely whenever it suits you. Once all assessments are successfully completed within the 18-month period, you will be awarded the ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying.
